Import video file of light field instead of photoset

Using a drone I can capture a horizontal panning video shot to use as a light field photoset source. Instead of me having to export the individual frames of the video and then import the photos, just allow me to import the video directly instead. BTW if you import from a directory with a lot of files (like my downloads folder in windows) the app will crash. Would probably need a way to select the portion of the video with the most consistent panning and have frame skip settings.

With my DSLR camera I shoot video as well (with timelapse rail or handheld). It is convenient to use a single video file and easy to use video editing software to process the footage.
Being able to import video would reduce the number of rendered files to 1 and reduce disk space (as Davinci only renders tif files).
A cool addition would be a time scale multiplier. I often use 5x or 10x speed to end up with a 50fps clip with a length of ~45 frames.
